My name is Emilia Rauckis,
and it’s my job to help you feel fantastic.
For me, photography caught my attention when I started documenting trips and social events in high school. We started having “photoshoot days” when my friends and I were bored of doing the same old same old. I found a lot of satisfaction and excitement in being able to take photos of people that highlighted their good qualities, or showed the genuine friendship and fun that was being had at the time.
Over the years, photography has morphed from a hobby into a passion and into a career, and looking for the gold in people, events and things has truly become a lifestyle.
I have built up strong core techniques through personal mentorship by photographer, Juel Zamplas, and by taking courses in photography, art, graphic and web design at Western Michigan University, Oakland Community and Washtenaw Community College. I have over eight years of experience in Adobe Photoshop, and four years as a professional photographer. In that time period, I have been privileged and thankful to work with some of the most sincerely beautiful people inside and out.
